Situation:

Marine units have been tasked with clearing sector Baker of enemy pockets of resistance. Marine units are to push through enemy resistance and capture Hill 213 and set up blocking positions overlooking Mission Trail by day two. This is approximately one mile east of Green Beach #2.  The Commanders intent is to block additional enemy troops from reinforcing Japanese elements in the Division’s area of responsibility.

Location:

From Chicago - Take I-57 south to exit 177 (Neoga). Turn right on Rt-45.   Follow 45 south through Neoga. Cross a rail road spur on the south side of the town. Drive approximately 2 ½ miles. At the battle sign, turn right across a set of railroad tracks and head 3 1/2 miles west to battle site.

From Indiana – Take I-70 west to exit 162 (Sigel). Turn right onto Rt-45 and go north through Sigel. Take the first left after passing the power plant. Go across the railroad tracks and head 3 1/2 miles west to the sight.

From St. Louis - Take I-70 east to exit 162 (Sigel).  Turn right onto Rt-45 and go north through Sigel. Take the first left after passing the power plant. Go across the railroad tracks and head 3 1/2 miles west to the sight.

Battle Fee: $15.00   (Cold water will be provided throughout the event.) 

All participants will meet at the 3rd Battalions Command Post (Jeff’s house) NLT 0800 for the initial safety and ROE (Rules of Engagement) brief. 

Weapons inspection by unit leaders will be conducted in the area of the CP prior to start of the mission.

 "NO AUTOMATIC WEAPONS"! 

Jeff Cornell will act as the overall Japanese Commander. He will be responsible for command and control of his troops as well as the Marine/Army units.  Safety is our primary concern.  

Additional personnel that arrive after the safety/ROE brief will be given the opportunity to receive  information before being assigned.

Assignment of "replacement" personnel will be at the discretion of the event organizer.  Let us know which unit you wish to be assigned to.

ALL illegal substances are strictly prohibited and will result in your immediate expulsion from the event.
